Briana is from Natchez, Mississippi, and brings a diverse professional background that uniquely shapes her approach to accounting. She began her career in education, spending over six years as a teacher before transitioning into accounting full-time. That experience developed her ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, stay organized under pressure, and build strong, trusted relationships, skills that now directly benefit the clients she serves.

Briana has a strong foundation in public accounting, with experience in audit and assurance services for a wide range of organizations, including financial institutions, local governments, nonprofit entities, and privately held businesses. Through her work, she has led and supported full-cycle audit engagements, gaining deep experience in financial reporting, internal controls, and identifying areas for operational and process improvement. She is known for her ability to bring clarity to complex financial information, identify inefficiencies, and help clients feel confident in both their numbers and their decision-making.

She joined the Attracct team in May 2026 as a Senior Staff Accountant, where she focuses on delivering accurate, timely financial information and helping business owners build more streamlined, scalable accounting processes. Briana holds a Master of Business Administration and is currently pursuing her CPA license and is on track to obtain licensure in Summer 2026. She is a QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).

Outside of work, Briana enjoys spending time with her daughter, Carolina, traveling (especially trips to Disney!), cheering on the LSU Tigers, and reading.
